Non-DOT Drug Testing
Graze Labs offers non-DOT specimen collection and laboratory testing coordination for employment, personal requests, and approved parole, probation, or court requirements.
Parole, Probation & Court Testing Policy
Tell us before booking if your test is required by a supervising agency or court. All clients—including those from another county or state—must provide their supervising officer’s name, agency, phone number, official email, and any testing instructions or deadlines.
Before collection, Graze Labs must confirm that our collection site and testing process are acceptable to the requesting agency. Without confirmation, testing may be delayed or declined.
Bring acceptable identification and complete any required consent forms. Results are released only to authorized recipients as permitted or required by law. Graze Labs cannot guarantee court or agency acceptance. Booking does not extend your testing deadline.

-If an appropriate instant test cup isn’t available for the non-DOT panel you need, Graze Labs may need to send your specimen to a lab. When required by testing instructions, we collect a split specimen, meaning two separately sealed samples. Lab processing takes more time, and any added fees will be explained before collection.
Graze Labs — DOT Urine Drug Testing Policy
DOT urine collections follow 49 CFR Part 40 and applicable DOT agency requirements.
Before testing: Bring an original, acceptable photo ID and your employer’s testing instructions. Provide your employer or testing coordinator’s contact information, including the Designated Employer Representative (DER). Collections begin without undue delay.
Collection and results: Follow all collector instructions. DOT urine specimens are collected as split specimens and sent to an HHS-certified laboratory, with results reviewed by a Medical Review Officer (MRO). Instant drug-test cups cannot replace DOT laboratory testing. Directly observed collections will be performed when required by DOT rules.
Insufficient specimen: If you cannot provide enough urine, Graze Labs will follow the required insufficient-specimen procedure. When continuing urine collection, this includes a waiting period of up to three hours, ending sooner if a sufficient specimen is provided. Inability to provide a specimen is not automatically a refusal. Leaving early or failing to cooperate may result in a refusal determination under DOT rules.
Additional fees: A $25 collection-supply fee may apply when a used collection container must be discarded following an incomplete collection. Shy-bladder waiting time is charged at $35 for each hour or portion of an hour, without proration. Fees are disclosed before collection and billed under agreed payment terms and applicable law. These charges do not shorten or replace required DOT procedures.
Confidentiality: Results and testing records are disclosed only as authorized or required under applicable DOT rules. Processing times vary; Graze Labs does not guarantee a particular result or employment decision.
Mobile and after-hours collections: Available by confirmed arrangement. Scheduling does not extend employer or DOT testing deadlines.
